Do I need a professional social media account to join?

No, but it is strongly encouraged. While you don't need a specific 'professional' account type, you do need an active platform (like Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, a blog, or community group) where you can authentically share your unique affiliate link or code with an audience. To gain full access to all of Shopify Collabs features, you do need a professional or creator Instagram account

How do I receive my complimentary Picklebalm sample?

After you are accepted into the program, you can easily request your sample. You will find a form or section within your Collabs partner portal where you can select the product of your choice from our list and submit your shipping information. The sample is not sent automatically; you must request it through the portal.

Do I need to fill out tax forms (like a W-9)?

Yes, for US-based creators. In compliance with IRS regulations, we are required to collect a W-9 form from US partners once their earned commissions reach $600 USD in a calendar year. You will be prompted directly within your Collabs portal to provide this information. Payments are capped at $599.99 until the W-9 is successfully submitted. All tax information is securely managed by the Shopify Collabs platform.

Is there a minimum amount I need to earn to receive a payout?

Yes. There is a minimum payout threshold of $25 USD. Your earned commissions will accrue in your Collabs account. Once your cleared balance reaches $25 or more, the payment will be automatically processed on the next bi-weekly payout date. If your balance is below $25, it will simply roll over to the next payout period.

How long until my commissions are paid out?

Commissions go through a standard 30-day holding period from the date of the sale. This ensures the order is not canceled or fully refunded before the commission is finalized. Once cleared, payments are processed automatically twice per month (bi-weekly) through the Shopify Collabs payment system.

What is the cookie duration for the affiliate links?

We offer a 30-day attribution window (cookie duration). This means if a customer clicks your affiliate link, you will earn commission on any purchase they make within the following 30 days. This gives your audience plenty of time to decide and ensures you get credit for your efforts!
